Hitchhiker's Guide to Elongated Coins

If you are at all like me, you get very excited whenever you come across an elongated coin souvenir vending machine... you know... the machines where you pop in a few quarters and a penny, then out comes your prized elongated.

Just think about all those machines that you’ve probably driven right by because you didn’t know that they were there! It makes me ill just to think about all the machines I've probably missed out on.

Now, imagine knowing (in advance) where elongated machines are located... all over the country. Think about how great it would be to whip out your copy of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to Elongated Coins whenever you go on vacation, and locate those elusive machines with a minimum of effort.

How can we make this happen? It's simple. But it will require YOUR help!!! Just take note of where you happen upon these machines (get a business card of the establishment that houses the machine, or just jot down the pertinent information--establishment's name and address.) A description of the dies would be nice to have as well. The more information, the better. Then send that information to me.

I will compile all of the data into a state-by-state listing, and make it available to all via this web site. I will also issue a special elongated thanking you for your contribution to the new guide (free).
